Bearing
A bearing is basically a set of high-strength, steel balls encased in a metal ring (a "race") coated in grease so that they can move with very little friction. The bearing is located in the wheel hub to which the wheel and tire are attached.
A tapered roller bearing is a rolling bearing with an inner and outer ring with tapered raceways between which the tapered rolling bodies are placed. All the conical faces converge to one point on the centerline of the bearing. Due to their design, tapered roller bearings can absorb both axial and radial forces
