Dynamo

The dynamo has two main functions: providing electrical energy and recharging the battery, but as soon as the engine runs, the dynamo comes into action. It is fitted against the engine and is connected to the crankshaft in the engine by means of a V-belt or a Multi-Belt. The moment the engine turns, the dynamo therefore also turns and supplies power. Compare it to the dynamo on a bicycle tyre, although the dynamo in the car is a lot more complicated. At the same time, the dynamo keeps the battery charged.

Dynamo

A properly functioning dynamo is essential for your car's electrical systems. Whether you are an adventurous off-road driver or simply enjoy long drives, at Roan4x4 we understand the importance of reliable energy production. That's why we offer high-quality dynamos that meet the demands of even the most demanding driving conditions.

WHY IS THE RIGHT DYNAMO IMPORTANT?

Your car's dynamo is responsible for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. It provides the current needed to charge the battery and power all your car's electrical systems. A properly functioning dynamo ensures that your car always has enough power, even during heavy loads such as using lights, air conditioning and other electrical equipment.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF DYNAMOS

At Roan4x4, we understand that every car is unique and has specific requirements when it comes to alternators. Therefore, we offer different types of dynamos suitable for various vehicles and applications. Here are some of the options we offer:

  1. High-power alternators

Our high-power alternators deliver improved charging capacity and are ideal for vehicles with additional electrical accessories or upgrades. They offer higher current output even at low engine speeds, ensuring reliable power production in all conditions.

  1. Recovery dynamos

Recovery dynamos, also known as regenerative dynamos, are designed to recover energy during vehicle braking or deceleration. These dynamos convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy, charging the battery and reducing fuel consumption.

  1. Heavy-duty dynamos

For off-road vehicles and other heavy-duty applications, we offer heavy-duty alternators. These dynamos are specially designed to withstand the challenging conditions of rough terrains. They deliver reliable energy production even in extreme environments.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT DYNAMO FOR YOUR CAR?

When choosing the right dynamo for your car, there are some important factors to consider:

  1. Vehicle specifications

Check your car's specifications to determine what capacity and specifications require the right dynamo. If necessary, consult your car's manual or a professional mechanic.

  1. Energy requirements

Consider the electrical consumption of your car, including additional accessories or upgrades. Choose an dynamo that can provide enough power to meet your energy needs.

  1. Quality and reliability

Always choose a high-quality dynamo from a reliable manufacturer. This ensures that the dynamo will last a long time and deliver consistently good performance.
