We use the following calculation for winching:

Weight car + loading weight x 1.5 / 2 is the pulling force.

Never forget the loading weight of your car while winching. And never only take the weight of the car with you but always in combination with the loading weight. (For example: the person riding with you, winch weight and other accessories)
