Description
BMW M57N Billet thermostat housing. This thermostat housing is CAD designed and CNC machined from a single aluminium billet, Then hard anodized in black. This housing has an outlet for rear of cylinder head cooling mod which neatly and directly routes out and around the side of the engine to the rear. (shown in images 19mm hose tail). This housing does not use the renowned problematic BMW thermostat. And has been designed to accept a off the shelf thermostat which allows options for a 74, 82 and 88 degrees thermostats to be used. The thermostat is a serviceable item unlike the BMW assembly with the entire housing requiring replacement. 74 Degree recommended for special applications only. Threaded M22X1.5 hole for Fan switch or additional coolant pump control switch. Threaded M20x1.5 outlet to rear of head. Uses the factory BMW seal (Not supplied). Supplied with fixings, 2x stainless plugs for threaded holes.
